Sooha Kim starred as Kim in the 2016 Japanese production of Miss Saigon, having understudied and played the role in the West End production. She then went on to play Kim in the UK and on international tour between 2017 and 2019. She is the first Korean actress to perform the role of Kim in both English and Japanese.

Since 2019, Sooha has been based in Korea. Her Korean credits include Mimi in Rent, Eurydice in Hadestown and Aida in Aida. She originated the role of Jin in Swag Age and Jenny in 4 Minutes. In 2020, Sooha was awarded Best Female Newcomer at the 4th Korean Musical Awards and Best Female Rising Star at the 13th Gender Equality Culture Awards. In the following year, Sooha was awarded Best Female Actress at the 5th Korean Musical Awards. This year, Sooha made her film debut with Vanishing: Unsolved Case.

Sooha is thrilled to be joining the Australian Tour of Do You Hear The People Sing? Miss Saigon will always hold a dear place in her heart, and she is honoured to be singing these songs on stage again.
